It's really easy in friendships and relationships to get stuck in a cycle of repaying evil for evil. If you find yourself being mistreated, make the effort to be the one to break the cycle! Repaying evil with goodness isn't an easy task, but it is a way to honor Christ, as he did this for us!

Sometimes the things happening around us or to us are too much to bear. Sometimes we don't think we'll make it through. As Christians we all have moments we look back on and say, "I overcame that by the grace of God." When we stand face to face against the sadness, fear, and anger of this world, or faith in god is the only thing that can bring us through to victory. Without Him, can we truly overcome it?

There is a lot of darkness in our world right now. Don't hide your light behind it. Be a light to everyone you encounter, and shine brightly. Let's spread our light and love to others, and let's make sure we don't dim others' light along the way.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may seee your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 5: 14-16
